It is something to hear about atrocities in general but it is altogether shocking when someone tells you about the atrocities in gruesome detail that raises the hair on your back.
Journalist Muluken Tesfaw has done a very detailed investigation on the atrocities committed on Amara people funded and directed by TPLF. He went in all part of the country and interviewed eye witnesses who either saw the crime committed or have first-hand information about the atrocities.
It is difficult and downright immoral to hear these horrific killings and NOT do anything about it. These well investigated and documented crimes should be filed to open legal proceedings. This obligation to organize and to bring the perpetrators of these crimes in NOT only the duty of activists but it is also the moral responsibility of those who practice law for a living here in the Diaspora.
Some of the perpetrators of this horrifying crimes are now living in the US and Europe including Tamrat Layne who was a disgraced former prime minister of TPLF. This horror was committed under his watch while the killings were carried out through out the country.
These crimes should be reported to ICC and other human rights organizations around the world to bring TPLF and its collaborators to justice. We should all help accomplish this mission of bringing this genocidal crime to light for the whole world.
